Alcohol Rehab Costs

Alcohol rehab costs will differ based on where an individual goes for treatment and what type of program they enroll in. For example, an outpatient treatment facility will be less expensive then an inpatient, private or luxury one.  In a perfect world, an individual would not have to consider cost at all but instead could freely choose the facility that they believe will give them the best chance of getting sober.  Because the world we live in is not perfect, it is always necessary to balance cost and desire. For instance, you will have to choose a facility that you can both live with and that you can afford. However, don’t worry too much, even less expensive alcohol rehab centers can provide very good treatment.  Just because you can’t afford to pay tens of thousands of dollars for treatment, you don’t necessarily have to settle for second-rate help. Shop around and find a facility that offers high quality services at affordable prices. They are out there.

Often times the most expensive rehabs facilities, for example, those that are considered luxury or private will offer services that may not actually be needed, such as access to swimming facilities or tennis courts. These types of facilities may not be necessarily for a person to get clean. Though they may help make a patient’s stay more comfortable. These perks also help to justify the cost of very expensive rehab.

There are several different types of alcohol rehab centers.  They include outpatient, inpatient, private and luxury. Outpatient centers typically have the lowest costs because you are not required to stay over night. You simply visit the facility throughout the week. Of course, depending on where you go, the price will vary. Some may cost a couple hundred dollars every week. Some will be less expensive and others more.

Your private alcohol rehab centers will be more expensive.  These are mostly for people who are either rich, a celebrity or those that want to make sure or at least increase the chances that their stay at an alcohol rehab facility is kept private. Consequently, these are typically more expensive than your average inpatient stay and your outpatient centers.

Luxury alcohol rehab is most often times for famous persons. These people need to be around either other wealthy or celebrity patients. This is largely so they can have some measure peace and anonymity. They are less likely to receive this if they check into a regular rehab. Luxury alcohol rehab centers cater to stars, politicians and other public figures.  They are typically very expensive and out of reach in terms of cost, for most people.  They will typically be very posh, come with a lot of perks and patients (or their family members, friends or “handlers”) will definitely pay for the privilege of getting sober in high-end surroundings.

Inpatient rehab centers will likely be less expensive than a luxury facility but more costly then an outpatient one because the center must cover the costs of caring for an individual 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
